Family Friends of Scouting Presentation Scheduling

During the first few months of each year (usually Jan/Feb/Mar), we ask packs and troops to allow a Family Friends of Scouting presentation to be scheduled during the Blue and Gold Banquet, Court of Honor or other pack/troop meeting. The district will have a presenter attend and talk to the parents for about 8-10 minutes about how the council supports the local pack. Parents are then given the opportunity to make a financial pledge to the Friends of Scouting campaign. This is not a high-pressure sales pitch.

Schedule a presentation for your pack or troop today!

Thank you to the units that have already scheduled their presentation!

Twilight Camp 2020

July 15 (a second session on July 14 will be opened if the July 15 session fills up))

Kensington Runestone Park

We know that the weekends are busy in the summer - so we are doing something new this year! We are conducting Day Camp during the week and later in the day (twilight).

We hope that your pack has a Camp Coordinator to help with scheduling drivers to carpool to camp and making sure enough adults attend camp with the Scouts. See the information below.

5:00 pm - check in
5:30 pm - activities begin
9:20 pm - closing ceremony
9:30 pm - on the road back home

  • Scouts - $35)
  • Adults - free

Parents that work during the day don't have to use an entire vacation day to attend camp with their Scout - just leave early from work.

Note - all participants (youth and adults) will need to turn in a health history form prior to camp.

Does your pack have a Day Camp Coordinator?

To help communicate camp information and coordinate the registration of youth, we ask for each pack to have a Pack Day Camp Coordinator. The coordinators will be invited to participate in a webinar prior to the date of the Day Camp.

Please let us know who your pack coordinator is by completing the Pack Day Camp Coordinator Form.

Free Camp Promotion Placemats for Blue & Gold Banquets

The council is making available free placemats for packs to use during their Blue & Gold Banquet. Download a sample here.

To order placemats for your pack, submit your order online here. Please allow 2-3 business days for printing and extra time if they need to be delivered.

Order of the Arrow - Chapter 4

Are your scouts looking for the next thing in their scouting path? Order of the Arrow is a great way to get more involved in scouting and community service. Greater Leadership opportunities exist, more opportunities for growth, greater ability to travel, and a better way to create friendships throughout the Council. For more information contact, Chapter Advisor Brian Ramey.
